About The Position

The private Beach Club at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking an energetic, dependable, and guest-focused Food Runner to join our team. Our exclusive, members-only Beach Club offers elevated beachfront dining, poolside service, private events, and an unmatched coastal atmosphere. The Beach Club features private beach access, a heated pool, upscale dining, concierge services, and exclusive amenities designed to create an exceptional member experience. As a Food Runner, you play a key role in ensuring every meal is delivered promptly, accurately, and with genuine hospitality. You will work closely with the culinary and service teams to create memorable dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a passion for guest service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and seasonal schedules.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests.
- Verify each order for accuracy, quality, and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Assist servers with table maintenance, beverage refills, bread service, and guest requests.
- Describe menu items and answer basic guest questions when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, expo areas, and dining spaces.
- Ensure proper handling of food to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
- Support special events, member functions, and private gatherings.
- Uphold Sandestin's standards for hospitality, professionalism, and member satisfaction.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
