About The Position

This position involves completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing a daily cleaning checklist. The role also includes setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, and inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day with clean-as-you-go procedures is essential. The position requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training. A clean and professional uniform and personal appearance are necessary, along with maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, speaking clearly and professionally, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also key. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, and visually verifying information in various formats are required. The job involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are needed for manipulating objects. The role requires moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is necessary. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may be assigned.

Responsibilities

Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Support team to reach common goals.
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
