About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner to deliver meals promptly and accurately while ensuring food quality and presentation meet guest expectations. The Food Runner assists servers, improves workflow, and helps maintain a smooth and efficient dining operation. The role involves providing friendly, responsive service and working with the team to create an exceptional dining experience. Associates are expected to use the company’s core values and service expectations in their daily work. The position may start as early as September and pays $7–$8 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Obtain state-certified proper food handling certification.

Nice To Haves

General food and beverage knowledge, including at least one year of front-of-the-house operations experience, is preferred.
Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly, using appropriate service trays.
Perform assigned side work at the start and end of each shift.
Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts/hostesses, other food runners, and management, as needed.
Fill in as needed to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Provide friendly, responsive service and participate with the team in delivering an exceptional guest dining experience.
