About The Position

The Fresh Market is seeking Production Specialists to support production across its Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments. The role is suited to detail-oriented team members who enjoy production work, early shifts, teamwork, and providing extraordinary service to guests. Specialists inspect products for proper rotation and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures, completing reports as necessary. They maintain knowledge of store products and weekly ad items, assist guests across departments, follow company standards and protocols, and present themselves professionally in accordance with uniform standards.

The required schedule is 3 a.m. to 11 a.m., with days off typically Sunday and Wednesday. The position may require a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. A $2.00-per-hour shift differential applies for hours worked between midnight and 5 a.m. The posting lists hourly pay ranges of $16.95–$19.48 and $18.19–$19.40.

Requirements

• Have a passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be willing to work a 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. schedule, typically with Sundays and Wednesdays off.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
• Be able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, grasp, bend, and reach.
• Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Be able to spend extended periods on one's feet and stand or walk without a break for up to four hours, or as required by law.
• Wear an approved hat, hair net and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Production Planning Software experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle production for key items supporting the Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to help guests find products and complete meal solutions.
• Inspect store products for proper rotation and ensure products are ready for guests.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures and complete reports as necessary.
• Follow The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols.
• Present oneself professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
