About The Position
This position supervises the activities of inmates in the preparation and serving of meals for the population and staff. The role involves training inmates in all kitchen policies and procedures and maintaining a high standard of food safety, sanitation, and quality in a cost-efficient manner.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures.
- Experience in monitoring and supervising the work of others.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to include outlook.
