About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC. ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is a full-service 83-bed hospital located in the charming waterfront community of Washington, N.C. The hospital has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center and is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. This role will have oversight of day-to-day patient services operations, successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff, and deliver high-quality food services in patient meal management operations.

Requirements

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
• Passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily
• Knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets
• Experience with oversight of diet offices
• Strong management skills, preferably in health care
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years minimum management experience
• 2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
