Sodexo Live! has an exciting opportunity for a Food Operations Manager to join the elite team of professionals who operate the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, at John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Join our team of experience-makers and food fanatics and be part of creating memorable experiences! We are seeking a talented individual who will commit to the challenges of creating and delivering a culinary-driven, fine-dining experience within a thoughtfully designed travel oasis. Venues and events don’t just bring people together, they create exceptional moments and lasting memories. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. Requirements

  • A restaurant/hotel/lounge food and beverage background (upscale/luxury strongly preferred), with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards
  • Strong coaching and employee development skills
  • Have a passion for food and innovation
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum management experience
  • 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
