About The Position

Patients are at the heart of everything we do. Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC. ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, is a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is a full-service 83 bed hospital located in the charming waterfront community of Washington, N.C. The hospital has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center and is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year.

Requirements

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
Passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily
Knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets
Experience with oversight of diet offices
Strong management skills, preferably in health care
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
2 years minimum management experience
2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

Have oversight of day-to-day patient services operations
Successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff
Deliver high quality food services in patient meal management operations
Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
Develop strategic plans
Ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance
Have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction
Create a positive environment
Ensure Sodexo standards are met
