About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Food Operations Manager 2 to join their team supporting a high-profile client, Liberty Mutual, in Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a vibrant corporate dining environment. The role involves partnering closely with the General Manager to drive daily operations and deliver an outstanding dining experience across multiple service areas, including a corporate café with 7 stations, executive services, a micro-market, and office coffee service.

Requirements

Experience in food service or hospitality operations management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams
Retail dining and/or corporate services experience preferred
Financial acumen (cash handling, inventory, cost controls)
Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and innovation
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of management experience
Minimum 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Retail dining and/or corporate services experience

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations across retail, executive services, and micro-market
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of ~14 employees (4 FOH, 10 BOH)
Partner with the Retail Chef to ensure high-quality culinary execution
Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and ordering (including snacks and supplies)
Ensure strong financial controls, including cash handling and cost management
Drive merchandising and presentation standards in retail spaces
Support and collaborate on catering events and special projects
Maintain a high level of client and customer satisfaction
