About The Position

Under the direction of the Executive Chef, this role supervises all food & nutrition department employees in their daily performance of work. Responsibilities include active involvement with patient meal tray preparation, training of new staff, inventory of department supplies, ensuring department sanitation, maintaining the daily flow of work, and assisting with the setup of catering events as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Food Service Supervisor experience in a healthcare environment or a full service restaurant operation preferred.
  • Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) preferred.
  • Serv-Safe Certified preferred.
