THE GARAGE The Garage at Bottleworks is a community-focused food and market hall featuring independently owned Indianapolis businesses. Bridging the Chatham Arch and Mass Ave neighborhoods, The Garage features 1930s Art Deco facades, industrial architecture and roll-up doors for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The Garage is a supportive environment where chefs, producers, and artisans are pushed to be their very best.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least one year of front-of-house/back-of-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
  • Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
  • Food Manager Certification within 90 days of employment
  • Beverage Certification within 90 days of employment
  • U.S. Work Authorization

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and coordinates the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Contributes to the accomplishment of development practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, absolute accountability, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of our culture, leadership, and a superior workforce in accordance with the Company’s Manifesto and Ultimate Objective.
  • Ensures that every guest leaves with a lasting impression.
  • Ensures that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Ensures that all the food hall operates within Geronimo Hospitality standards.
  • Achieves objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Continually strives to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
  • Prepares all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Schedules labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Fully understands and complies with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the food hall, employees and guests.
  • Provides advice and suggestions to General Manager/Assistant General Manager as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
