About The Position

The Food Distribution Assistant Manager I assists the manager with program operations including studying practices and methods and making recommendations for changes, assists in budget preparation, and monitors expenditures as well as supervises assigned area and personnel. The Manager provides supervision and technical assistance for staff in the assigned area.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Agriculture, Business Administration, Family Consumer Sciences, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
Three (3) years of related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of database software
Strong verbal and written communication
Meticulous attention to detail
Analytical mindset & problem-solving skills
Ability to hold strict confidentiality
Ability to build strong working relationships
Intermediate computer & math skills
Ability to lead, mentor, and coach others
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret USDA guidance.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
