About The Position

The Food Court Manager is responsible for assisting in overseeing all aspects of the food court by ensuring the location meets budget sales, expense, margin, profit and customer service goals.

Requirements

  • Must have three to five years experience with food court operations.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must have management training or equivalent.
  • Must be able to travel to meetings and other company functions.
  • Must display use of good judgment and demonstrate leadership qualities and be creative in their management style.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must work a minimum of one weekend per month and one late shift per week.
  • Must work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
  • Occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, disciplines, and terminates personnel with the involvement of the Divisional Manager and Corporate Human Resources Department.
  • Ensures all personnel are trained thoroughly.
  • Conducts performance evaluations of staff at 90 days and annually.
  • Ensures all management duties are completed (i.e. payroll, scheduling, inventory).
  • Works with supervisor on decisions involving internal promotions and salary adjustments.
  • Maintains staffing levels and ensures budget goals are maintained.
  • Handle all problems that cannot be handled at a lower level.
  • Ensures all personnel are in proper working uniform and neat in appearance.
  • Ensures the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the store meets company standards and is in proper working order, inside and out.
  • Reports all maintenance, customer, and personnel problems to upper management regularly.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Implements any new programs in the location.
  • Is proficient in opening and closing the store, including the completion of all required paperwork.
  • Responsible for keeping operations relevant and profitable and in compliance with our standards.
  • Ensures equipment is updated and maintained; communicates all equipment and capital expenditures for approval to your supervisor.
  • Conducts shift and department meetings as required and reports to upper management as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws.
  • Ensures the security of merchandise in the facility.
  • Communicates appropriately with customers and all company personnel.
  • Provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • Prepares any prep work and stocks for the next shift as need for all concepts.
  • Handles and prepares RAW chicken products properly and to safety standards.
  • Utilizes and cleans fryers, speed ovens, and all other ovens according to safety and company policies.
  • Records temps and waste properly.
  • Provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.
  • Assists in other duties, as assigned.
