About The Position
Join Festival Foods as a Part-Time Food Court Clerk! Reports To: Food Court Manager Are you passionate about food and love providing great service? As a Food Court Clerk at Festival Foods, you’ll be at the heart of our fast-paced food service area, preparing and serving up delicious meals for guests. Whether you’re making a fresh cup of Caribou coffee, serving pizza, or popping the perfect batch of popcorn, you’ll help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for everyone who stops by. Requirements
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong guest service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast food or restaurant retail grocery environment, multitask, and maintain efficiency.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in different food court areas.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort handling food service equipment like dishwashers, fryers, woks, and ovens (training provided!).
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent guest service, including friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and with care.
- Assisting guests with orders, recommending menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Preparing and serving food court offerings such as coffee, pizza, and popcorn while adhering to high-quality and food safety standards.
- Maintaining a sanitary and well-organized food court area by stocking supplies, updating food safety logs, and keeping workspaces clean.
- Supporting fellow associates in a restaurant-like setting to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Following food safety protocols, operating equipment like fryers, ovens, and woks, and managing proper temperature controls for prepared foods.
- Performing other duties as needed to support the team.
- Maintaining regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and providing adequate notice for absences.
