About The Position

This full-time, year-round opportunity is based at one of Pursuit's three distinctive Jasper restaurants: Terra, Aalto, or Silverwater. The role focuses on providing support, training, and coaching to the front-of-house team to ensure an interactive, knowledgeable, and professional Food & Beverage experience. The supervisor will actively participate in daily operations, including scheduling, recognition, and performance management. This position also involves coordinating orders and inventory, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, handling guest concerns, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area. The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Requirements

1+ years of Food & Beverage supervisory experience.
Detail oriented, strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with high volume and demonstrated professionalism under pressure.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment at a high altitude. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Previous experience with POS, Microsoft Office, cash handling/cash out

Secondary language skills an asset

Responsibilities

Provide support, training and coaching to ensure the front of house team delivers an interactive, knowledgeable and professional Food & Beverage experience.
Actively participating in the daily Food & Beverage operation including coordination of scheduling, recognition and performance management duties.
Coordinate Food & Beverage orders and inventory with the Food & Beverage Manager.
Ensure accuracy in cash, debit and credit card transactions. Preparation and verification of daily cash reports.
Act as the direct line of support in handling any service-related issues, actively listening to guest concerns/issues and finding effective resolution. Escalating as required.
Ensure the restaurant area is clean and always organized.
Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
