About The Position

As a Food & Beverage Ops Supervisor at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests have exceptional dining experiences and that the team operates efficiently and to company standards.

Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Must have valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects storage areas for organization, use of First In First Out (FIFO), and cleanliness and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Completes inventories (e.g., opening inventory) of supplies, food, and liquor, checks stock, and requisitions necessary supplies.
  • Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled.
  • Monitors dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Ensures associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
  • Collaborates with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions.
  • Assists in hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction.
  • Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs.
  • Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
  • Contributes to team goals.
  • Follows company policies and safety procedures.
