About The Position

The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for leading front-of-house dining and event operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and alignment with Canyon Ranch service and wellness standards. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, beverage programming, and supports banquet and special event execution while partnering cross-functionally to ensure consistency, quality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage or related field
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role
  • TIPS certification (required)
  • Serve Safe Manager Certification (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality (hotel, resort, or destination spa) strongly preferred
  • Associate’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of banquets and special events, partnering with Events and Culinary teams to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences.
  • Coordinate event logistics including staffing, room setup, service flow, breakdown, and vendor elements such as rentals and décor.
  • Lead day-to-day front-of-house dining and beverage operations, ensuring a consistently high level of service and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Be a visible, hands-on leader—engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and resolving concerns in real time.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and inventory control, while identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Monitor food and beverage costs and analyze performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing ongoing coaching and fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels to support both daily operations and special events.
  • Lead and support training initiatives focused on service standards, food safety, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Culinary, Events, Purchasing, and vendor partners to ensure alignment and operational success.
  • Communicate effectively across teams to support smooth execution and continuous improvement.
