About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager provides functional leadership for the restaurant and bars and is directly responsible for front-of-house operations, catering and group sales, and beverage functions. The role oversees front-of-house management and staff, works closely with the Executive Chef and property General Manager, and is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and the financial performance of the F&B department. Duties may evolve, and additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 2 years of Food & Beverage Management experience.
Excellent communication skills.
A strong, innovative mindset.
Complete knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
Must be eligible to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, and supervise the team, and oversee food and beverage staff scheduling in accordance with business needs, productivity, and service standards.
Observe and assist with food and beverage outlet operations, taking action to maintain product presentation and service standards.
Work with the Executive Chef to develop menus and food and beverage marketing strategies.
Work with the Executive Chef to implement menus and promotions, including holiday and special event promotions.
Use computer equipment to analyze forecasts, cost reports, and revenue reports, and make decisions to maximize profits.
Respond to guest inquiries and complaints, and coordinate special arrangements and requests in food and beverage outlets.
Assist outlet managers in coordinating support department services, including maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Conduct and/or attend Food & Beverage administration meetings.
Complete monthly inventory.
Ensure function bills are completed on time.
Supervise weekly payroll input.
Liaise with the Sales Department on an ongoing basis to ensure client needs and requirements are met.
