About The Position

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Five-Star resort. The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for leading and collaborating with food and beverage/culinary management team and hotel staff to ensure the successful operation while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility. The F&B Manager is an ambassador for Eau Resort and Spa's values and beliefs, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for guests and staff alike. This role is a flexible position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and nights.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Minimum 3 years luxury management experience.
  • Food Handling Certificate.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Prior experience in 4/5 Diamond, 4/5 Star restaurant(s)
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in hospitality, business or food and beverage
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
  • Any previous Culinary training.
  • Certification in alcoholic awareness program.
  • Certification in C.P.R.
  • Computer training.
  • Basic wine knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Leading and collaborating with food and beverage/culinary management team and hotel staff to ensure the successful operation while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Eau Resort and Spa's values and beliefs, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for guests and staff alike.
  • Understanding guests' service needs.
  • Prioritizing and organizing service requirements at all tables in assigned station.
  • Maintaining concentration and thinking clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Focusing attention on details.
  • Suggestively selling restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Accessing and inputting information into P.O.S. system.
  • Directing timing and performance of Servers, Food Runners and Server Attendants in providing quality service to guests within assigned station.
  • Maintaining good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Exerting physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests.
  • Enduring abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Performing job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Working cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
