About The Position
F&B Inventory Clerk Join the Culinary Team Behind the Scenes At The Point Casino & Hotel, every great dining experience starts long before the food reaches the table. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Food & Beverage Inventory Clerk who will play a key role in keeping our kitchens running smoothly. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our culinary operations-tracking inventory, organizing storage areas, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring our chefs always have the ingredients they need to create incredible guest experiences across the property. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous kitchen or food service experience required
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to track inventory and enter data accurately using a computer
- Ability to obtain a Washington State Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment
- Ability to obtain a Class II Gaming License issued by the Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Commission
Responsibilities
- Managing and organizing inventory across dry storage, walk-in coolers, and freezers for all property venues
- Ensuring proper FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation and product dating
- Receiving, unpacking, and verifying deliveries to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Tracking incoming inventory and identifying discrepancies
- Conducting monthly inventory counts to maintain accurate data and control costs
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe storage areas
- Supporting the Executive Sous Chef with ordering supplies and managing inventory records
- Assisting with vendor pricing comparisons and cost control initiatives
- Helping prevent loss and identifying potential inventory discrepancies
- Performing quality checks on stored products
- Supporting team members in locating and accessing inventory as needed
