Westerner Park is seeking a Casual Food & Beverage Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Floor Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality food and beverage operations during events across concessions, bars, catering, and suites. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating staff, supporting operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage Services, the Floor Supervisor is responsible for the following: Event Operations & Execution Oversee concessions, bars, catering, and suites to ensure smooth event operations Support pre-event setup and post-event teardown, including stocking and cleaning Monitor service levels and workflows throughout events, addressing operational issues in real time Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by the Food & Beverage Management Team Team Leadership & Supervision Delegate tasks to staff based on business and event needs Provide guidance, coaching, and support to front-line employees Train new employees on equipment, POS systems, and standard workflows Ensure staff maintain proper uniforms, name tags, and professional presentation Customer Experience & Service Maintain high standards of guest service across all service areas Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Support a positive, team-oriented environment for both guests and staff Systems, Inventory & Controls Update POS systems as required Monitor and authorize voids, returns, and discrepancies Track inventory and communicate stock needs to the warehouse team Ensure inventory aligns with menu and service requirements Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to ProServe, Food Safe, and operational policies Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas Support proper handling and cleaning of equipment Communication & Reporting Review event memos and communicate operational plans with staff Respond to radio and phone communications during events Report operational improvements, shortfalls, or issues to management

Requirements

  • ProServe Certification (must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol)
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible event schedules
  • Strong communication, customer service, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Food Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in food & beverage or event-based operations
  • Inventory control and POS system experience
  • First Aid Certification
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Responsibilities
