The Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking for a Floor Manager- Food & Beverage. This role is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff training, light administration, and active floor supervision during service. The ideal candidate will build and maintain relationships with guests, team members, and management, and lead by example to create a culture focused on the experience and enjoyment of food and wine. This position requires high personal integrity, business ethics, and the ability to promote the venue. The Floor Manager will communicate the vision to team members, reinforce company values, and inspire the team with an exciting vision for the future. They will utilize conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, assist with tracking sales, invoicing, and inventory management, and conduct pre-service briefings. Ensuring food and service meet quality standards, striving for maximum efficiency and staff productivity, and participating in health and safety initiatives are key responsibilities. The role also involves ensuring the facility is well-maintained, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and setting staff work schedules while monitoring performance.
