About The Position

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Coordinator supports food and beverage operations by managing administrative tasks, coordinating event services, overseeing inventory, and ensuring quality and sanitation standards are met. Key responsibilities include liaising with vendors and Guests, assisting with budgeting, scheduling Team Members, maintaining records, and implementing procedures to enhance the Guest and Team Member experience while staying within operational guidelines. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive food, beer, spirits and wine knowledge with some culinary background or experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with Team Members, Guests, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Understanding health and safety regulations, as they relate to food and alcohol service.
  • Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience in food and beverage leadership is a requirement.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional Guest service and building Guest loyalty.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisor or above experience in a full-service food and beverage establishment required.
  • Current Food Handler Manager certification and RBS certificate required or ability to acquire one (employer will provide upon hire).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-volume, fine dining, or upscale restaurant is preferred.
  • Culinary background or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Plan and organize food and beverage services for events, working with Guests to define menus and themes.
  • Assist in supervising and training Team Members, creating schedules, and ensuring staff are meeting compliance standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and control inventory to ensure compliance with quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Handle various administrative duties, including record-keeping, preparing reports, and managing financial transactions and budgets.
  • Ensure a high level of Guest satisfaction, address Guests' needs, and maintain effective relationships with external and internal Guests.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain records of Team Member certifications, ensure all certifications are current and notify appropriate management or Team Member of when certifications are about to expire.
  • Support the F&B management team by documenting and keeping attendance records per department.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, such as POS sales, inventory, and various reports as needed.
  • Assist in conducting group and individual training regarding policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
  • Display and encourage teamwork in the department.
  • Treat everyone with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognition of achievements.
  • Assist F&B management with ensuring that staff payroll is completed and approved prior to the close of payroll deadline.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
