The Food & Beverage Cashier provides warm, attentive guest service while accurately processing payments and supporting smooth front-of-house operations within the assigned outlet. This role greets and seats guests as needed, assists with guest inquiries, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and ensures all transactions are handled in accordance with departmental and company standards. Responsibilities vary by location. When assigned to the Employee Dining Room (EDR), the Food & Beverage Cashier may perform additional back-of-house and food-service tasks, including assisting behind the serving line, supporting basic food preparation, and ensuring proper cooking methods, temperatures, sanitation, and storage of prepared items and leftovers. When assigned to Room Service, the Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for managing the cash register bankroll, processing all payments and room charges, and maintaining accurate logs and charge records. The role requires strong menu knowledge, accurate order-taking, and timely processing of guest requests, including VIP comp orders. Additional duties include verifying guest information, dispatching and tracking deliveries, coordinating tray pick-ups, and assisting with routine inspections and inventories of room-service equipment and supplies.
