The Assistant Manager ensures the smooth running of the day-to-day operations for the restaurant and special events, including banquets. The Assistant Manager will also assist with recruitment, training, and management of staff, as well as inventory management, including unpacking orders, ensuring neat storage, and participating in monthly inventory counts. They must be able to address customer complaints and resolve matters expediently. The role includes overseeing food storage and dining areas for safety and health code compliance, assisting with cocktail creation and menu development, and leading the execution of events like weddings and conferences to ensure flawless delivery. Daily billing and financial responsibilities must be completed accurately and efficiently. The Assistant Manager will also be a leader in daily communication regarding guest feedback, employee performance, and shift notes.
