About The Position

The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I is a support services employee responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The associate performs competencies listed on the Competency Checklist, meets mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals and objectives, and follows systems and processes for patient safety, infection control, department security, and HIPAA guidelines. The role also requires adherence to department uniform and personal appearance standards, use of proper processes to support patient, customer, and physician satisfaction, and commitment to HCA’s vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Distribute food and supplies in the department.
• Demonstrate competencies listed on the Competency Checklist.
• Meet annual performance goals and objectives established in the performance management plan.
• Follow processes that support patient safety, infection control, department security, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Adhere to Food & Nutrition uniform and personal appearance standards.
