About The Position

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising specialized teams within the restaurant operation to ensure service is up to standard. This role involves monitoring staff, maintaining cleanliness and setup of the restaurant, and communicating with the Food and Beverage Manager. The supervisor may also assist with serving, cooking, and bartending, and supports the manager with ordering and inventory.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in F&B.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate associates in a positive and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cooks and servers to ensure service is up to standard.
  • Read daily communication sheets from the previous shift and prepare one for the following shift.
  • Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Communicate daily with the Food and Beverage Manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc.
  • Assist the staff with serving, cooking and bartending as needed.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager with ordering, inventory, and supervising staff.
