About The Position
The stunning Forbes 4-Star Conrad New York is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join the Food & Beverage Team! Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining. In this role, you will oversee the operations of mainly Leonessa. You will assist in Atrio and IRD as needed and report to the Director of F&B. You will oversee a team of around 11 hourly team members.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of bar management experience
- Proven experience managing unionized team members

Responsibilities
- Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
