About The Position

As the Assistant Beverage Manager at New York-New York, you will play a key role in shaping the energy and execution of a diverse, fast-moving bar program inspired by the spirit of the city that never sleeps. Supporting multiple outlets, you will help drive consistency in beverage quality, service standards, and team performance while navigating the pace and variety that define this property. You will partner closely with leadership to oversee daily operations, coach and develop team members, and ensure bars are well-prepared for fluctuating volumes. With a strong awareness of guest engagement and operational detail, you will contribute to an environment where efficiency, atmosphere, and service come together to deliver a memorable experience across every touchpoint.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant experience required
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a manager for a Beverage or Restaurant environment preferred
  • Previous experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department
  • Direct smooth, efficient, cost effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling and inventory control
  • Manage delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes
  • Provide management support in the oversight of assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to the guests
  • Coordinate the requisition process and stocking of beverage outlets to maximize revenue for the division
  • Provide guidance and counsel to beverage employees, ensure the staff is scheduled properly
  • Provide recommendations to management on daily operational issues
