Chase Park Plaza Food and Beverage Assistant Manager

As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will partner with leadership to oversee daily restaurant operations and actively support, develop, and motivate the team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service, maintaining standards, and ensuring both guest satisfaction and team engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, connecting with guests, and building a strong team culture.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-first approach
- Ability to stay organized and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost controls
- Comfort with basic technology and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive culture
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety and alcohol service certifications as required
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of food and beverage service across outlets and events
- Be present on the floor to ensure smooth operations and step in to resolve guest concerns
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and service execution
- Partner with the Chef to stay informed on menus and guide the team accordingly
- Monitor guest feedback and take action to continuously improve the experience
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of team members
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities clearly
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
- Provide real-time coaching and feedback to support team development
- Help ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees
- Assist in managing all aspects of the F&B operation
- Support scheduling based on business levels and labor guidelines
- Participate in inventory management and cost control efforts
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Welcome guests warmly and engage with authenticity
- Anticipate needs and take ownership of the guest experience
- Lead by example and set the tone for service excellence
