About The Position

Pinz is seeking a Food and Alcohol Server (age 19+) to join their team. The server will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment. This role requires a detail-oriented, personable, and optimistic individual who is a team player and committed to achieving goals.

Responsibilities

  • Check the daily schedule to see in what section you are assigned.
  • Set up and perform server side work and stocking.
  • Introduce yourself and provide water to all guests upon arrival.
  • Explain how the service screen works.
  • Take beverage orders and introduce offerings.
  • Offer favorites to whet guest’s appetites.
  • Ring orders in for bartender in the required order (liquor/smoothie, wine, bottled beer, draft, soda).
  • Add straws and picked garnishes after bartender pours.
  • Place beverages on tray and deliver to guests.
  • Attempt to get guests to order food when dropping off first round of drinks.
  • Check back to ensure guests’ satisfaction of drinks and for follow up orders.
  • Drop off silverware sets and any condiments necessary, including salt & pepper after order is received.
  • Communicate with your runner/bus person about food orders and the involved lane/area.
  • Once food is delivered, immediately confirm the order is correct and offer condiments.
  • Remove empty glasses and clean tables as possible.
  • Consistently follow sales control procedures (do not give out free product/ensure all product is rung in).
  • Verify accuracy of prices on guests’ checks.
  • Present bill, comment card, and mints to guests.
  • Keep assigned tables, lounge, service station, and other areas clean and tidy.
  • Advise bartender or supervisor of complaints as they occur.
  • Consistently comply with all state, local, and city laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol.
  • Perform side work and restock your areas of concern.
  • Check out with bartender prior to doing your books.
