About The Position

The Folder/Gluer Apprentice sets up the feed section of the machine and assists the machine operator with other duties. The apprentice cross-trains in the functions and tasks involved in operating the facility’s folder/gluer machines. Future folder gluer operators are selected from the apprentice pool. This position is located in West Chester, Ohio, and is on the 3rd shift. Overtime is required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the machine’s feed section in a timely manner.
• Ensure sheets are placed properly in the machine.
• Maintain the overall quality and cleanliness of the machine.
• Assist the operator with all aspects of the job as required during training.
• Fill in during the operator’s absence.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of equipment and the work area.
• Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
