About The Position

Mill Rock Packaging Partners is seeking a Foil & Inline Embossing Operator to join their Production Team. This role involves running projects through advanced die cutting machines, managing setup, routine inspections, maintenance, and ensuring the quality of output. The operator will work towards daily production goals and collaborate with the operations team. They will also be responsible for guiding a Die Cutting Assistant and taking ownership of daily project outcomes, acting as an "entrepreneur" of their press.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where you collaborate with your supervisor on daily schedules.
A knack for "tinkering" or pulling something apart just to understand how it works...before putting it all back together.
Preference to work with your hands on machines or parts.
Ability to accept feedback and use it to grow in your position.
Endurance to be on your feet all day.
GED or high school equivalent.
Reliability.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree or 4 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Prior experience as a Die Cutting Operator at a printing or packaging company.

Responsibilities

Be in charge of running projects through our advanced die cutting machine (or press).
Manage set up, routine inspections and maintenance, and quality of output.
Be guided by daily production goals and the pulse of the operations team.
Engage and mentor your Die Cutting Assistant and, at the end of the day, own the outcome of your daily projects.
