About The Position
The Fund of Hedge Fund (FoHF) Operations Analyst is responsible for the operational, accounting, and compliance controls for the AB Multi-Manager Alternative strategy. The strategy invests in a diversified portfolio of 20-30 blue chip, institutional quality hedge funds that provide diversification by investment style, time horizon, asset class and region. The role requires a strong understanding of the fund vehicles and investments, and will interact with the Portfolio Manager, Analyst, third-party Hedge Fund Managers, service providers, and other internal groups.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in either accounting, operations, or fund administration.
- Financial industry experience required; Hedge Fund-specific experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal oversight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proactive communicator.
- Strong Excel skills, ability to create macros
