About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote, on-demand support for legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, they are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Florida Real Estate / HOA / Condo Litigation Paralegal. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10-20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal with direct experience in Florida real estate litigation matters
Strong experience handling HOA and condo association matters
Experience with real estate litigation matters such as foreclosure, quiet title, eviction, and related disputes
Strong drafting skills, including pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
Experience supporting all phases of litigation, including discovery, filings, and case management
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and ability to support attorneys with day-to-day litigation needs

Responsibilities

Handling HOA and condo association matters
Managing real estate litigation matters such as foreclosure, quiet title, eviction, and related disputes
Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
Supporting all phases of litigation, including discovery, filings, and case management
Managing multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
Working accurately in a fast-paced environment
Taking initiative and working independently with minimal supervision
Supporting attorneys with day-to-day litigation needs
