About The Position
The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote, on-demand support for legal projects. Due to increased demand, we are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Florida Personal Injury / Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in the State of Florida
- Prior experience handling personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation matters
- Strong paralegal, legal secretarial, and administrative background
- Strong understanding of Florida litigation procedures, deadlines, and court requirements
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage active litigation files and support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
- Manage a busy senior partner’s legal and social calendar with exceptional organization and time management skills
