About The Position

Studley's is Rochester's oldest flower shop, seeking a Floral Sales & Floral Prep Associate. This position reports to the Store Manager. The company emphasizes teamwork, customer satisfaction, and creating extraordinary floral designs. The role involves engaging with customers for floral purchases and supporting the floral department by processing fresh floral products. This job requires a high level of physical stamina, emotional intelligence, and the ability to utilize technology.

Responsibilities

Sell flowers and plants in person and on the phone using sales techniques and technology.
Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to sales growth.
Resolve customer questions and concerns.
Contribute to maintaining the consistent high quality of merchandise.
Process website orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Support the floral department by maintaining a clean and attractive working area in the retail store, cooler, and production areas.
Unpack shipments, wash buckets, and process fresh flowers according to company standards.
Utilize proper flower handling techniques and basic plant care knowledge.
