About The Position

Adams is seeking a Floral Designer to create fresh floral arrangements, maintain attractive displays, and assist customers with their floral selections. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, treating everyone with respect, kindness, and appreciation. Team members are expected to greet customers personally, serve them with friendly, polite, and knowledgeable assistance, and prioritize customer needs. Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in floral design, including hands-on work with fresh flower arrangements and event design.
Knowledge of floral design techniques and flower varieties.
Familiarity with industry best practices for flower handling, storage, and display.
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Ability to operate floral tools and equipment, such as floral knives, clippers, and coolers.
Ability to demonstrate and embody Adams’ culture and values.

Responsibilities

Create fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and custom designs for everyday sales and holidays.
Design and prepare floral pieces for events such as weddings, funerals, holidays, and other special occasions, ensuring they meet customer expectations and Adams’ standards.
Take customer orders for custom floral designs, listening closely to their needs and offering knowledgeable suggestions to bring their vision to life.
Assist customers by providing information about flower varieties and design options.
Ensure that all floral products meet Adams’ high-quality standards by checking for freshness, visual appeal, and proper labeling.
Help with inventory by receiving floral deliveries, unpacking shipments, and restocking the sales floor with care and accuracy.
Follow store policies and procedures, including those related to product rotation, workplace safety, and department cleanliness.
Maintain neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing floral displays and coolers throughout the department.
Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, buckets, and display surfaces regularly to meet safety standards.
Stay informed about current floral trends, seasonal offerings, and Adams' floral product line to provide excellent customer service.
