Responsible for supervision of the operation of assigned table games or pit areas as assigned by a supervisor, to ensure game integrity, guest satisfaction, and compliance with policies and procedures. This role involves supervising the operation of a specified amount of table games on an assigned shift, maintaining the highest quality standards in guest service, hospitality, and player development. The Floorperson Pit Manager ensures games move at an appropriate pace, maintains appropriate game spreads, limits, and staffing, and informs casino Shift Managers of any noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity. This position also facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino, assists in training and evaluation of subordinate employees, and understands pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks. Maintaining current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws and internal controls is crucial. The role also promotes an atmosphere of fun for guests, encourages mutual respect and integrity among employees, and fosters an environment where employees can share ideas and resolve conflicts.
