About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, professional Flooring Sales & Design Associate to join our team. This is a performance-driven role focused on in-home and on-site consultations, delivering customized flooring solutions, and managing projects from initial client interaction through completion. This position is ideal for someone who is confident in sales, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects while delivering a high-quality client experience.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Proof of insurance if using personal vehicle for business use

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in in-home sales, flooring, or design consultation preferred
  • Proven ability to generate and close sales
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
  • Comfortable using technology (CRM systems, tablets, etc.)
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to assess client needs
  • Guide clients through product selection including hardwood, carpet, tile, laminate, LVP, and more
  • Deliver accurate estimates and proposals using company systems
  • Follow a structured sales process to drive close rates
  • Manage projects from sale through installation completion
  • Coordinate timelines with internal teams and installers
  • Ensure accuracy of measurements, selections, and orders
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the process
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals
  • Build referral networks and maintain client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to increase project value and profitability
