The Quality Control Field Technician oversees daily installation operations, subcontractors, and material logistics to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards. This role involves performing daily site visits to assigned communities, communicating with builders and superintendents, and establishing trusting relationships. The technician will answer field calls, texts, and emails professionally, attend preconstruction and safety meetings, and inspect flooring and cabinet installations within 48 hours of completion. Responsibilities also include communicating home readiness to management, managing site inventory, performing minor repairs, conducting customer service inspections with homebuyers and builders, and consistently updating the system with notes and progress updates via walk sheets and product order forms with pictures. Occasional will-calls and material deliveries are also part of the role, along with informing management of any installation issues or delays.
