The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for constructing and assembling cabinets in accordance with established specifications, drawings, and blueprints. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a cabinet assembler or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinet components.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
  • Commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine cabinet dimensions and materials required.
  • Selecting materials, such as wood, laminates, and hardware, and other hand and power tools.
  • Assembling cabinet components using adhesives, screws, nails, and other fasteners, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
  • Installing hardware, such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides, according to design specifications.
  • Inspecting finished cabinets for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and repairs as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
