About The Position

Savanna Well Servicing is looking to grow its business and is currently hiring for the role of Service Rig Floorhand based out of a number of field office locations in Western Canada. This fundamental role involves ensuring the general maintenance of a well servicing rig, including keeping the rig and equipment clean and organized, as well as operating tools such as tongs.

Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Ability to maintain resilience and perseverance in the face of challenging situations/extreme weather conditions
Relevant functional and technical skills
Valid H2S Alive Certification, First Aid Certification and CSO

Nice To Haves

Enform Floorhand Competency
Class 5 Driver's License with airbrakes endorsement preferred
Class 1 or 3 Driver's License considered an asset

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining the equipment and well servicing rig
Using and maintaining hand tools
Carrying out duties as per the Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) and procedural manual
Effectively operating tongs to make and break connections
Effectively assist other members of the crew
Other duties as assigned
