FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Floor Technician at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. The role is responsible for floor maintenance and restoration and for operating industrial floor-care equipment. The schedule is full time, with days and hours provided upon interview, and rotating weekends required. Prior floor-care experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $12.00 per hour. Requirements
- Prior floor-care experience is required.
- Proven knowledge of floor-care equipment and techniques is required.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a floor-care technician or in a related role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor-care equipment.
- Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
- Follow proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp-surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor-surface types.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
