Galleria Woods Senior Living is seeking a Floor Technician/Porter to join their team. Requirements
- Experience using scrub and extractor machines
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Effective communication skills with residents and coworkers
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
Nice To Haves
- Previous porter, housekeeping, laundry, janitorial, or healthcare environmental services experience
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas, hallways, and public restrooms
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and caring for floors and carpets
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Assisting with room and event setups
- Maintaining housekeeping equipment and supplies
- Following daily work assignments and priorities established by supervisors
- Supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members
- Maintaining resident privacy and confidentiality at all times
