About The Position

CCS Facility Services is a building services contractor providing janitorial and facility engineering services to commercial businesses. The Floor Tech performs floor-care and general housekeeping duties in commercial buildings, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites. The role may require evening, overnight, or weekend work.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of floor maintenance techniques and equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous floor-care or janitorial experience preferred.
• Floor stripping and waxing skills.
• Carpet cleaning and extraction skills.
• Buffing and burnishing skills.
• Chemical handling and safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
• Strip, wax, buff, and polish hard-surface floors.
• Clean and maintain carpets using extraction and shampooing equipment.
• Operate floor-care machines, including burnishers, buffers, and auto scrubbers.
• Remove stains, scuff marks, and spills from flooring surfaces.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Inspect floors for damage and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.
• Support general housekeeping duties as assigned.
