About The Position

Allegiance is hiring a 3rd Shift Floor Tech at a manufacturing facility in Mt. Holly, North Carolina. The role performs floor-care and general building-cleaning tasks, including steam-cleaning carpets; stripping, waxing, buffing, and sealing floors; deep-cleaning painted floors; and cleaning other surfaces. The employee also gathers and empties trash and moves heavy equipment and furniture. On-the-job training is offered. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The hourly pay is $17.50.

Requirements

• Prior floor-care experience.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate them to appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors using proper machinery.
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff them.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep-clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals and degreasers.
• Clean buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
