About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices, while helping provide a sanitary and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests.

The Floor Tech operates floor care equipment safely, keeps records of floor care activities, and reports maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. The position requires following infection control and universal precautions, completing routine and repetitive tasks, and communicating effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership. The role also includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
