About The Position

Pro-Serv Commercial Cleaning is hiring a Floor Tech Custodian for a route position in the Tempe area near Priest and Washington Road. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., and pays $18.00 per hour. Employees travel to multiple locations. The position focuses on cleaning and floor care, including dust mopping, wet mopping, auto scrubbing, propane buffing, stripping and waxing, refinishing, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, sanitizing, and disinfecting. Duties also include emptying waste and recycling, transporting it to disposal areas, and replenishing supplies. Employees must follow safety procedures, including using chemicals appropriately, locking doors, and reporting incidents. The employer states that part-time and full-time benefits are available, shifts vary, and there is room to grow within an established organization. The position requires prior floor-tech experience, a valid driver's license and good driving record, reliable transportation, availability that includes weekends and holidays, and the ability to pass drug screening and an extensive criminal background check. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English, read chemical and safety information, follow directions, meet deadlines, and maintain excellent attendance. Training must be started immediately. The work requires lifting 35–50 pounds, standing and walking, using hands to finger, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, or hearing.

Requirements

Must have floor-tech experience.
Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds.
Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Must pass a drug test and an extensive criminal background check.
Must have excellent attendance.
Must be able to start training immediately.
Must be able to follow directions and meet assigned deadlines promptly.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
Must be able to read and comprehend chemical and safety information.

Responsibilities

Clean floors using dust mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
Perform floor-care tasks including auto scrubbing, propane buffing, stripping and waxing, and refinishing.
Dust, polish, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces.
Empty wastebaskets and recycling and transport contents to disposal areas.
Stock and replenish supplies.
Follow safety policies and procedures, including locking doors, using proper chemicals, and reporting incidents.
Travel to multiple locations as part of a route position.
