Under the direct supervision of a Senior member of the Dining Management team, the Floor Supervisor will oversee the operational duties that help ensure a memorable dining experience of assigned dining unit(s). Specifically, this position will support the daily supervision of staff, support on-the-job training efforts, monitor presentation and performance, as well as food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance items. Additionally, this position will regularly help support on-site client relations & elevated customer service interactions, which can often be sensitive, complex, or involve high-level university officials, prominent alumni, trustees, world leaders, and dignitaries that require a high level of security. Promote and uphold compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as University and Dining policies and procedures, through consistent and positive leadership. Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities. This position requires a varied work schedule, including availability on nights and weekends as needed.
